Itineraries

3 hour walking tour: Most guests will stay somewhere around ‘The Rocks’ or Sydney CBD
meaning this is the ‘essentials’ which covers The Rocks, Circular Quay, Opera House, Mrs
Macquarie’s Chair, Botanical Gardens, State Library, The Mint, Hyde Park Barracks, St Mary’s
Cathedral and Hyde Park. This tour can be customised to be extended or to substitute sites
along the way.
8 hour city tour: In addition to the walking component above and by utilising a vehicle, guests
can head into the Eastern suburbs to visit local neighbourhoods such as Rose Bay, Double Bay,
Oxford St Paddington, Queen St Woollahra, Watson’s Bay and of course Bondi Beach.
Specialised tours today can focus on architecture, coastal walking, history, food, shopping, art
galleries or surfing.
Non driver/guide recommendations for Sydney include (prices on application): Seaplane
to Hawkesbury River or Palm Beach for a lunch, 15 minute seaplane flyover of Sydney Harbour,
private harbour boat/yacht cruise (minimum 2 hours), surfing lessons, Bridgeclimb, nightlife
tours.
10 hour Blue Mountains tour: This is the most popular day trip from Sydney and offers
spectacular scenery along with some quaint local towns such as Leura. There is the other
commercial option where guests visit Scenic World or we would recommend going off the
beaten trail with a local guide that can take guests to quieter lookouts/hiking trails. Optional
extra is to take the helicopter to/from.
10 hour Hunter Valley: This is Sydney’s most renowned wine region and guests can have
exclusive access to a number of cellars/winemakers. Other non-winery options include the
Hunter Beer Co, Mortels Skeepskin Factory, hiking in the Werakata National Park, Maitland
Gaol, horseback riding and local art galleries. Optional extra is to take the helicopter to/from.
